Louis Meisel donates to Smithsonian

Randy heard from Louis Meisel on May 11, 2022 that he had donated 18 photorealist paintings to the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, DC. Randy’s 1990 painting “Dutch Kills Creek - Greenpoint” was included in the first group of paintings.

The Painter's Pedagogy, July 15th 2022

One of Randy’s paintings will be included in the group show, The Painter’s Pedagogy, the Students of Harold Gregor. Randy was a student of Harold Gregor in the 1970s when Harold was a professor of art at Illinois State University. The show will be held at the McLean County Arts Center, July 15th to August 27th, 2022.

Louis K Meisel Gallery representation

Randy has joined the gallery of Louis K Meisel located in New York. The gallery shows photorealist and realist paintings, drawings and sculptures. Randy’s representational landscape paintings and drawings will join the incredible art works that are shown here. Two paintings and four drawings arrived at the gallery last week.

Paris Review

Randy's artwork from the show was featured in the January 10th online version of the Paris Review.  www.theparisreview.org/blog/tag/randy-dudley/.   It looks wonderful there.  

Show Opening

Randy's show opening was on Thursday, January 5th at Ameringer, McEnery and Yohe Gallery in New York City.  Also showing artwork was Emily Mason.  There was a large crowd of art enthusiasts, friends and family in attendance.  It was a successful opening with interest from a number of potential clients.  There was also an advertisement in a recent Art in Americamagazine announcing the show.
